灵活运用句型：Look at this photo. We were on the train to Beijing.

能力目标:能灵活使用一般过去时描述过去发生的事情。

情感目标:提高学生的语言表达能力，培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

1、掌握四会词汇和系动词be的过去式。

2、使学生能够能却使用和了解一般过去时表示过去的情况。

教学过程

Step 1 热身（Warm-up）

活动方式：图片展示。

设计目的：通过图片复习巩固上节课所学的知识，并引入对各种动作的描述。既复习旧知识，又为新知识的学习做好铺垫。

Show three pictures to the students. Introduce them : In picture 1,the children played basketball. In picture 2, the little girl read a book. In picture 3, the woman bought a coat. Let’s students ask and answer some questions about the pictures. ---What did the children do in In Picture 1? ---They played basketball. ---What did the girl do In Picture 2? ---She read a book. ---What did the woman do In Picture 3? ---She bought a coat. Step 2: 导入（Leading in）

活动方式：

（1）

利用课本中的第一组图片进行问答练习。可设置以下问题：

What did Danny do on the train? What happened to Danny at the Palace Museum? How did Danny feel on the Great Wall? （2）学生根据图片回答。

设计目的：图片教学既具体又有形象，便于比较，使学生易于接受新知识。

Step 3 新课呈现（Presentation）

1、活动方式：阅读、检查。

（1）让学生带着以下问题自己阅读第二部分图片。

①How old was Danny last year? ②Where was Danny last week? 教具

检查学生自己解决问题的情况并做总结。

2、活动方式：听录音，回答问题。

让学生听录音，根据录音内容回答问题。

①How old is Danny this year? ②Was Danny happy yesterday? ③Where is Danny this week?

设计目的：在听、读的基础上，练习学生的口头表达能力，全面掌握新知识。

3、活动方式：小组活动、口头对话。

①向同伴描述丹尼过去和现在的情况。

②同伴之间相互描述，让后找出对方的错误。

Step 4巩固和延伸（Consolidation and Extension）

活动方式：单词识记，小组竞赛。

（1）根据课文图片和对话找出知识点。

（2）找出play with, hurt his tail这两个短语。比一比谁先记住它们。

（3）读课文比赛。以小组为单位，每人读一句。

（4）跟随录音朗读。

（5）仿照课文，介绍自己或他人上周情况。

Step 5 总结（Summing up）

设计目的：教师引导学生进行课堂小结，既是对本课内容分的复习，又是为下节课做铺垫。同时充分体现学生的主体地位，增强学生的自主学习能力。

活动方式：（1）学生在教师的指导下进行课堂小结。

①重点句型：

We were on the train to Beijing.

We played with the baby. Danny was at the Palace Museum. What happened? He hurts his tail. We were on the Great Wall. We were very happy. He was 7 years old. I was sad yesterday. ②

一般过去时的用法。

（2）引导学生介绍自己总结的情况。
