Lesson 6 Little Zeke 一、教材分析

故事教学就是以故事为载体,利用学生对故事的热爱,来激发学生学习的兴趣;通过学习故事、阅读故事、演故事等方式,来培养学生的自主学习和会话交际等能力。故事教学不仅能调动学生学习的积极性,同时,对学生学习英语知识有很大的帮助。在学习故事的过程中,许多单词的重复都表现得非常自然,而且令人印象深刻,语言方面的困难可以随之迎刃而解。

本节课是讲“Little Zeke”是属于第一单元的故事课，主要的内容是讲Little Zeke帮助Emma和Tess的故事。重点单词为hide 和afriad。

二、学情分析

本节课的授课对象是小学四年级的学生，他们已具备一定的英语听、说、读、写能力。学生们对英语比较感兴趣，能够积极主动地参与课堂，教师应该在精神上加以鼓励和关心

三、教学目标：

知识目标：

（1）学生能在图片和老师的帮助下听懂故事。

（2）学生能在教师和图片的帮助下读懂故事。

（3）激发学生表演故事的热情，培养学生综合运用语言的能力

能力目标: （1）帮助学生形成阅读策略并培养学生的阅读意识，促进学生推测故事、理解故事能力的发展。

（2）通过共同完成故事表演的任务，引导学生学会运用知识，与他人合作学习，提高学生的合作意识和参与意识，提高学习的积极性和主动性。

情感目标：让学生养成帮助他人的好习惯。

四、教学重难点：

重点：

（1）学生能听懂、理解并会说hide、afraid. （2）通过图片和教师讲解，促使学生理解故事大意。

难点：

学生通过对故事的理解，发挥想象表演故事

Step1 Greeting

Introduce Little Zeke 设计意图：通过问候唱歌曲的方式活跃气氛并且以此导入今天的主角Little Zeke.让学生自然融入其中。

T:Good afternoon ,friends,how are you? Ss:Good afternoon,teacher.I’m fine,thanks,and you? T:I am very well.nice to meet you! Ss:Nice to meet you,too! T:OK,let’s sing a song.

T:Songs beautiful.We all have friends, now,today let’s meet a new strange friend.（出示Zeke图片）Where is he? Is he big? So he called Little Zeke.(板书Little Zeke)Say hello to Zeke. Whose hand is it? Are they sister and brother?are they friends?Do you want to know? Step2：Pre-reading Today we will learn a story about Little Zeke.OK,Let’s enjoy the stroy.(读1-3图片）

Can you tell me? They are...? 设计意图：帮助学生初步了解故事1-3幅图片的内容，为猜测故事的发展做铺垫。

设计意图：引导学生猜测故事结局额，发挥学生的想象能力。

Step3 the whole reading. Now watch and listen the whole story. 设计意图：学生再次感受全文，理解单词在句子中的含义，整体感知故事。

Step4 post reading OK.open our book,and read this story. Do you like Little Zeke?Do you want to be Little Zeke?ok, let’s have a role play. 设计意图：为学生复述故事做铺垫。

Step5 show time 自由接组，发挥想象表演这个故事。

T:now boys and girls,if we want to have many friends ,we should help each other. Step6 homework Try to retell the story to your classmate. Expand the story.
