教材地位与作用

通过高中英语选修10 第三单元Using language马丁.路德.金著名的演讲"I Have a Dream"的教学,笔者旨在引导学生关注社会发展,如"一带一路",关心人类生存,如正在遭受叙利亚战争苦难的民众，了解走世界的公平正义之路依然任重而道远。明确我们要立足现在,树立远大理想,"天下兴亡,匹夫有责"，激励学生为实现中华民族的伟大复兴，为实现***提出的中国梦而努力拼搏。

同时，通过本课教学目标的设计与教学过程的实施，力求达到落实高中英语学科核心素养培养目标：语言能力，思维品质，学习能力，文化品格。

Introduction

Language is learned to be used in and for communication. So in this period we shall have the students read, listen, speak and write in English, focusing on reading the passage on page 28 and rewriting the passage.

Enable students to use the rhetoric strategies in speech and develop students’ ability of appreciation，imagination and resonance．

Help students know some rhetoric strategies used

in the speech and learn to use them in writing．Help students learn to appreciate the

beautiful sentences in t11e speech．

Teaching important points Stimulate students’ imagination and arouse their resonance in understanding the speech and the strong emotion expressed between the lines of the speech．

Teaching difficult points Arouse students’ desire to make a speech in front of the class by using right intonations and rhythms．
