教材分析

本节课是本单元的Learning about Language部分，分词汇和语法两部分，要学习本节课的内容，离不开本单元的主要话题，因此本节课的教学导入将围绕上一节课Reading部分的信息点而导入本节课语言点的运用。其中Discovering useful words and expressions中第一题要求学生运用所给词汇的适当形式填空；第二题要求所给短语完成句子；第三题要求学生会运用来自上一节课(Reading)课文的词汇和短语完成句子。通过这三个练习使学生掌握本单元的描述性语言。Discovering useful structures 在引导学生体验、探究、归纳现在完成进行时的基础上进行任务型巩固训练。而本节课的处理将会有所变动，本人将通过列举现在完成时和现在完成进行时的结构和意义，然后通过高考题的形式来让学生掌握现在完成时和现在完成进行时。

学情分析

高二的学生已经具备了一定的英语知识和语言学习的能力，而本课所学习的知识内容是在

上节课学习的基础上进一步运用语言知识，而语法现在完成时和现在完成进行时的学习对于高二的学生来说并不陌生，毕竟在初中阶段已经学习了，因此语法的学习对于学生来说应该是再次复习巩固。另外，本节课我将以Explanation and practice的教学方式结合本课具体内容进行教学，充分调动学生的积极性与合作参与学习的能力。

Step 1 Revision Check the homework.

Let the students show their information about Zhoukoudian Caves and retell the languages points and words in the last lesson.

Step 2 Lead-in Lead in-to Discovering useful words and expressions

We have mastered some information about Zhoukoudian Caves in the last lesson and know about some languages points and words. Now let us go on learning how to wisely use the words and expressions by reading the words and expression in textbook. Step 3

Presentation and explanation

1.Discovering useful words and expressions and Discovering useful structures

Doing the exercises 1, 2and 3 and giving explanations to the students one by one as well. First,ask the students to read the words and expressions and explain to them.

Then, let the students do the exercises by themselves. Third,check the answers by answering them together or put their hands up to answer the answers by themselves Step 4

Consolidation Consolidate the words and expressions what they have learned in exercises 1,2and 3 after finishing them one by one. For example, consolidate the words and expressions after finishing doing and checking Exercise 1, then do Exercise 2 and consolidate the words and expressions in this part 2. At last, do Exercise 3 and consolidate the words and expressions in this part 3.

Grammar

Discovering useful structures is about learning grammar to master the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense. Do as the following steps.

Revise the structures and meanings about the present perfect tense, have/has+done, haven’t/hasn’t done, Have/Has+主语+done...? Then do exercises about this structure have/has+done. 2.

Revise the structures and meanings about the present perfect continuous tense,

have/has+been+doing, haven’t/hasn’t been doing, Have/Has+主语+been doing...? Then do exercises about this structure have/has+been +doing. Step 6 Summary Summary what we also have to master in this lesson in addition to the above of all. Because these expressions also appear in exercises 1,2 and 3, and they are also important expressions in this lesson.
