一、教学目标

㈠语言知识目标:

1.能理解、认读、会写生词:festival, special, meal, sound, favourite,Thanksgiving, flag。

2.能理解和认读下面三个句子:

(1)Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.

(2)We always have a special meal.

(3)We say “thank-you”f or our food, family and friends. ㈡语言技能目标:

1.锻炼学生通过音标掌握单词的方法以及灵活运用单词组成短语的能力。

2. 能用口头运用”We always have a special meal. We say ‘thank-you’ for our food, family and friends.”这些句子介绍相关节日的活动。

3.引导学生积极参与小组活动,培养学生自主探究能力。

二、学情分析

本班共有23个学生,其中女生13人,男生10人。女生表现比较积极,善于表现,而男生则相对安静。另外,这个年龄阶段的孩子容易为一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引,利用孩子这一特点,在教学过程中尽量发挥孩子的主体性。

三、教学重点难点:

【重点】:会读写本课的单词:festival, special, meal, sound, favourite,Thanksgiving, flag 及重点句型

【难点】:1. festival, special, favourite,Thanksgiving的读音和写法。

2.美国感恩节的来历及习俗。

四、教学方法:

以任务型教学模式为主,以活动,合作为主线,恰当运用多媒体,整堂课紧紧围绕“学生是课堂的主角”的教学思想来组织教学。学生在教师的指导下,通过听说法,游戏法,进一步感知、体验、参与和合作,扎实地掌握了基础知识,提高了课堂效率。

教法:直观教学法、任务型教学法、分组讨论法等充分发挥学生的主体作用,在活动中,通过合作学习,游戏法学习,建立团队意识和集体责任感。

教学手段:应用网络教学工具、课件。

教学思路:本课利用视频、课件等作为教学资源,采用小组互助合作的形式,让学生在真实的情景中学习并运用知识。

五、教学过程:

(一)step1: Warming-up

1. Greetings .

Class begins , Good afternoon,boys and girls.

Welcome back to English class .I am very glad to see you again,and you?

2. Sing a song 《we wish you a merry Christmas》

Ok now let us sing a song together. We wish you a merry Christmas.

3. Leading-in

We know the Christmas is a western festival .

can you tell me more about western festivals?

Ok but what’s your favourite festival?

Yeah Thanksgiving is my favourite festival ,too.

And today we’ll learn a new lesson :Module4 unit1 Thanksgiving is my favourite festival .边说边板书。

(二)Step2: Presentation

1、Words

Thanksgiving

在黑板上面写下Thanks,问学生是什么意思,然后写give,是什么意思,再写giving. 最后合起来写Thanksgiving

Flag Day

2、Text teaching

(1)T: Now. please open your book and turn to page20. Listen to the tape and get a main idea of the text.

And then answer the question:

What festivals do they talk about ?

提问学生回答,并给予鼓励。

Now let’s look at the introduction of the Flag Day

(很多学生可能不是很了解这个节日,课件出示中文介绍这个节日的由来,让学生对这个节日有一个大概的了解。)

(2)T: Now. Listen to the tape of the first prograph and get a main idea .

And answer the question:

What do people do on Flag Day?

提问学生,及时给予鼓励。

(3)课件出示感恩节由来视频,让学生了解感恩节。

Talk about different kinds of activities on Thanksgiving Day. (4)Then Listen to the tape of the second prograph and get a main idea of the text.

Then answer the questions :

What do they do after Thanksgiving dinner ?

提问学生,及时纠正,并给予鼓励。

(5)Then Listen to the tape of the third prograph and get a main idea of the text.Then answer the question :

提问学生,并及时给予鼓励。

(6)Activity 3:听听力并练习本重点句型。

再听一遍录音,让学生跟读课文,并让学生重点模仿句子的语音语调。(三)Step3: practice

请学生分饰对话中的角色,表演课文对话。

Write about Christmas and talk about it.
