Ⅴ Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Warm-up

1.Greetings and free talk.

Show the teacher’s photo on the screen.ask students to guess who she is. Then say hello to students. Meanwhile ask some students’ name.

2.Show some school things: ruler, pencil, crayon, eraser. Ask students to say them in English together.

3.Say the chant together.

I have a ruler. Me too.

I have a pencil. Me too.

I have a crayon. Me too.

I have an eraser. Me too.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Cover the picture of Let’s learn. Guess who it is. Then show the part of it. Tell the answer: it’s Zoom. Then show the part of it’s bag.teach the word: bag.

2.Use the same way to teach the other words: pen, pencil box, book. Meanwhile, practice these words in high voice or low voice.

3.Show the pictures of some school things. Ask and answer questions: What’s your name? My name’s ...(bag, pen, pencil box, book and so on). Step 3 Consolidation and extension

1.Activity: What’s missing? Show some words on the screen. Look carefully

and say the word that is missing loudly.

2.Read and count. First ask some students to read these words. Then count how many and write the number.

3.Task: Let’s look and m atch. Match the pictures and the words.

4.Let’s do. Look at the pictures one by one. Then guess what they are doing. Then show the sentences and teach students to read them.

5.Game:

The teacher reads one sentence to the first student of each group. The student whispers the sentence to the other students one by one. The last student says it loudly. The fastest group is the winner.

Step 4 Homework

1. Read the four words loudly.

2. Do the action of Let’s do to your parents.
