教学内容分析：

本课是Join in六上第五单元第6部分，主要介绍了黑犀牛基本生活习性和濒临灭绝的原因。本节课跨单元上课，一课时完成阅读学习任务，需整体复习回顾学生所学过的动物和有关描述动物的词句。从易到难，引导学生读懂文本，正确理解文本内容。

学情分析：

五（2）班学生从一年级开始学习英语，大部分有较好的英语学习能力和口语表达能力，能认真听课，积极发言。教师在课堂上还需多关注学习能力较弱的学生，鼓励其大胆说英语，积极参与小组合作活动。

教学目标: 1.

能听懂，读懂关于犀牛的文本，会认读rhino, horn, mud, kill, sell, medicine等词, 了解黑犀牛的基本特征，知道黑犀牛名字的来历。

读懂句子People make medicine out of the horns. 了解

out of的用法。

3.

知道黑犀牛濒临灭绝的原因，流利朗读文本，并正确完成书本题目。

了解白犀牛和黑犀牛的区别。
