The main task in this lesson is to learn how to translate math questions into English. At the same time, it aims to strengthen students’ ability of memory. 1.

Step1:Greeting 补充修改
T: Good morning! Boys and girls! Ss: Good morning! Miss Xu. T: How are you! Ss: I’m great. T: Well, turn back please! There are some teachers in our classroom. Let’s greet to them. Ss: Hello! Teachers! Ts: Hello! Boys and girls. 设计意图:日常的口语交流,把学生自然轻松的带入课堂。
Step2: Warming-up T: Boys and girls, do you like sing and dance? Ss: Yes, we like. T: Great! Let’s sing and dance with the video, ok? 设计意图:教师寓教于乐,学生们潜移默化领略到英语之乐,从而喜欢这门学科。本课堂开始用鲜明的动画与欢快的音乐来激发学生的活动欲望,活泼而欢快的节奏可以消除学生的紧张感和疲乏感。
Step3: Review 1. Review the numbers from one to ten. a. Show apples to review one to seven. b. Ask the students in the first row to stand up to lead the number eight. c. The teacher joins in the line to lead the number nine. d. Ask the students take out theirs two hands to lead the number ten. 设计意图:营造英语环境,激发学生的英语思维,有效地提高学生对旧知识的再现率。

3. Play a game. Ask all the students to stand up, and count the numbers from one to ten one by one. 设计意图:进一步巩固所学,鼓励学生在适当的情景中使用所学语言交流。利用报数游戏,使学生进入紧张而兴奋的状态,集中注意力,从而提高学生的学习兴趣。
Step4: Presentation a.
The teacher holds a pencil-box and let the students guess how many pencils are there in the pencil-box, then takes out one pencil to lead the minus,to make the Ss understand the minus means “减”。And shows the sentence “Three minus one is two.”
b.
The teacher puts a pencil in the pencil-box to lead the plus, to make the Ss understand the plus means “加”。And shows the sentence “Three plus one is four.”
c.
The teacher takes out four pencils from the pencil-box to lead zero, to make the Ss understand the zero means “零”。And shows the sentence “Four minus four is zero.”
d.
The teacher let the Ss understand “How much” means
“询问数字相加的结果”。

Read and learn the sentences from the screen. How much is one plus one? One plus one is two. Hoe much is one minus one? One minus one is zero. f.

to teach math. The “little teacher” asks, the Ss answer. 设计意图:从实际出发,就地取材,把同学们手中的铅笔盒当作教具,通过取出和放入铅笔来引出“plus,minus,zero”,从而让学生理解这三个词的意思。利用做加减法的练习来让学生过对所授句型的进行反复操练,以巩固目标语言。最后通过“充当小老师”这一环节,让学生们自然而然学以致用,在真实的情景下运用所学的句型来交流,并且通过学科之间的渗透,以提高学习英语的兴趣。
