2 本课时教学难点是:How do you travel?

We travel by train.We travel by ship.

Teaching aims:

1. Ask the students to master the word: ship,train,travel。

2. Ask the students to master and use the sentences:

3. Learn to sing the English song:

What is this?This is a ship。

Oh we travel by ship。

Step1 Warm-up

1. Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls

Ss: Hello, Miss Chen.

T: Are you ready for class?

Ss: Yes.

(设计意图:掌握sh的发音,为新单词ship的学习打下基础;以歌激情,不仅复习了旧的语言知识,也创造了和谐的英语学习氛围,使学生快速进入英语学习状态,并调动了学生的学习兴趣。)

Look at the picture,what do you see?Ss:This is a truck, that is a tree。(提出任务,激发学生学习兴趣,从学生认识的tree和truck,无形中灌输tr的发音,为学习新单词train和travel做好铺垫,并巩固了This is a ,that is a...句型。)

T: Oh!He writes a letter for you!
