T:Today we’ll go on learning the new part of Lesson 3,Let’s learn .First please look at these pictures.Can you read these words?
Now let’s listen. T:Let’s read after the tape two times,OK? Ss:OK.
T:Very good! First you can see a question.Now look at me,I need a boy to work with me. (A boy stands up and asks the question in this part,and the teacher answers according to the picture.) T:You can work in pairs like this , practice with your deskmate.

(The teacher walks around in the classroom and helps these who have difficulties. ) T:OK,time is up.I see you have difficulties,read after me . (The students read after the teacher for two times.) T:Please pay attention to these two words,man and women.
(Teacher writes down the two words,and makes it clear that they are the singular and plural nouns. ) We know we can say I am a man ,right? But we can’t say There are two man. If we want to say There are two,we should say There are two man or men? Ss: Men. T:If I want to say There are three,I should choose which one ? There are three man or three men?
Ss: Men. T:Yeah.And four? There are four …? Ss:Men. T:Five… ? Ss:Men. (Teacher write 2、3、4 above the word men) T:Then we know this is a singular word,right? So this is a plural word. (Teacher helps students understand the plural noun women.)
