Preparation.

Say Hello to each other and chant. Then, play a guessing game. II

Presentation and practice. 1.

Present the new dialogue. 1) .CAI shows a kite. Present the new word “kite”. Read it in different ways. 2). Listen to the tape for the first time. Ask a simple question: What are Li Ming and Bob talking about?

Help the Ss to answer the question. 3) Read the dialogue for the second time. Try to answer some more questions:

Q1: Do you have a kite, Li Ming?

Q2: What color is it? Read the dialogue and discuss the questions in groups. Then underline the answers. The group leader make a report. 2.

Language points. 1)

CAI shows Li Ming’s kite. Present the new words “black, white”. Pay attention to the spelling rules. Talk about their black and white things in groups. 2)

Practice the new sentence pattern “Do you have a …?”. Then, ask and answer by using their own stationery. 3. Reading aloud. Read after the recorder. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Read in groups.

Read in roles.

Read together. 4.

Watch a vedio. Present the new words “brown, orange”. Practice in many ways and talk about their orange and brown things. 5.

Chant. “Black and white. Black and white…”

Production . 1.

Make a dialogue. The Ss will choose one stationery they like to make dialogues in groups. Then act it out. 2.

Color and say. The Ss will color the pictures in groups and talk about their pictures. IV

Summary. 1.

Read the new knowledge together. Then sing a song by using the new words and sentences. 2.

Homework. 1)

Practice more about the new words, sentences and dialogue. 2)

Make a beautiful kite. Then, talk about it and fly the kite with your friends.
