Teaching aims:

Students will listen and say the words well: he, she, student, teacher by learning the story;

Students will be familiar with the sentences: Let’s play a game! I’m clever. Can you read this?

Students will talk with others, try to use English. Teaching Key points:

Enable students to understand the story and try to act it out. Teaching Difficult points:

Enable students to act the story out with the partner. Teaching aids:

CAI, tapes, a card Teaching Procedures: Step1: Warm-up 1. Greetings. 2. Sing a song: Boy and girl. Step2: Pre-reading 1.

Introduce myself, then ask students to talk about themselves. 2.

Ask students to introduce their friends, try to say more.

Step3: While-reading 1.

Show Zoom and Zip, try to introduce them, lead the story.Then have a PK through a question:Who can be the teacher?

Have a PK by 3 rounds between boys and girls. 3.

Watch the story by the video. 4.

Listen and read the story , then answer some questions. Step4: Post-reading 1. Read the story and imitate. 2.Role play. 3.Sing a chant. Step5: Homework 1.

Try to read the story for your parents. 2.

Revise the content in Unit1.
