四、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up 1.

Greetings!

T:Hello,boys and girls.How are you? Ss:I’m fine,thank you.And you? T:I’m fine,too.But I miss you. 2.

Talk about their winter holidays. Step 2：Presentation A.New words and sentences 1.Teacher shows the numbers:Let’s count together.Then write today we’ll learn Unit 1(板书) 2.Teacher shows PPT，a picture of a cat ，point to the picture and say：Look！This is my cat.cat (板书) Then read this word one by one. 3. Teach the other words like this , dog, rabbit, duck(板书) 4.Read the words with tone and falling tone. 5.Use “This is my …” to introduce the animals（板书）

6. Then put the pictures far away the teacher,teacher use “That is my cat/dog/rabbit/duck. Students can be able to use and understand the sentences.（板书）

B.New dialogue 1. Teacher show many pictures of cats and dogs，This is my cat ,Kitty. That is my dog,Ray.To introduce pets’names.If someone has pets ,they can talk about their pets. 2.Learn to praise others.

This is my cat.Lovely. That is my dog.Wow,so cute!I love my dad,I love my mom. I love my cat.It’s lovely and cute. Students can use cute and lovely to describe animals. 3. Listen to the tape.First,listen.next,Listen and say,then,read after the teacher.finally,read in pairs and act it out. Step 3: Practice

quack----duck jump----rabbit 2. Draw and say:学生画出自己的宠物（如果没有宠物，就画出自己想要的宠物），画完后，用This/That is…介绍自己的宠物。

3. Play a game 学生戴上动物头饰上台表演，边表演介绍自己扮演的动物，并模仿动物的叫声。

Step 4: Consolidation

Role-play: 学生四人一组，两人扮演课文插图中的两个小女孩，一人扮演小狗，一人扮演小猫，四人进行课文对话表演，当主人公介绍自己的宠物时，小猫小狗发出Meow和Woof的声音。
