教学内容分析：本课选自PEP四年级英语下册第一单元C Story time. 本课内容主要是学习这篇故事，教学目标是让学生通过学习理解故事，教师在授课时要引导学生跟读故事对话，进行角色扮演，并能够进行故事创编，教育学生“不要以貌取人”。

学情分析：三年级的学生，课堂参与度较高，喜欢直观形象思维，勇于并乐于参与课堂的各个环节，对说唱、表演和竞赛特别感兴趣，但需要教师适时并及时引导与示范。

Step 1: Warming up 1.

Step 2: Lead in Let students play a “guessing game”. 1)

Show the photos of Yao Ming and Mr. Jones and let the students guess“Who is the teacher?”

Let students get the words “big” and “clever” by using the pictures

of PPT. 设计意图：通过“guessing game”使学生初步感知“Let’s play a game.”以及“Let’s play …”的句型。为学习故事做好铺垫。并通过Yao Ming 以及mother elephant使学生明白“big”的含义，加之与baby elephant 的对比，使学生更加直观的理解“big”与“small”。出示Mr. Jones 与Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein 使学生明确“clever”的含义。

Step3 Presentation 1)

Show the pictures of Zoom and Zip, tell the students that “Zoom and Zip are playing a game-‘teacher and student’

and let them guess “Who can be the teacher?”

PPT shows Zip and the teacher asks ”Can you read this?” as Zip.

Lead the students to answer “Sure” and read the words. 设计意图：使学生通过回答问题复习本单元重点单词以及本节故事当中的重点词汇“teacher”，“student”。通过教师模仿Zip 问“Can you read this?”，引导学生模仿Zoom回答“Sure.”使学生熟悉并初步掌握故事中的这段对话。

Read the story and answer the questions.

设计意图：使学生初步感知故事，并能够把握故事情节与结果。

Show the video and let students to read the story by following the video.

Step 4: Practice 1)

Read the story again and order the pictures of the story. 2)

Pair work.

Role plays the story. Boys are Zoom and girls are Zip. 设计意图：让学生通过给故事图片排序，加深学生对故事的理解，通过角色扮演促进学生进行合作学习，并深刻体会故事人物的情绪与言行，从而更好的掌握故事。

Step 5: Consolidation 1)

Group work. 4 students in a group and let them to make a new story by giving the useful words and the example. 2)

Let students act them stories out. 设计意图：通过斯人小组重新创编故事，既增强了学生团结合作的学习意识，又培养了学生的创新思维能力，让学生表演自己的故事更加培养了学生积极自信的思维品质。

Step 6: Conclusion

By leaning this story let students know that “Never judge by appearance.” And lead student to love each one. Step7: Homework. 1)

Repeat the story for parents. 2)

Make the new story and act it out with the group members. Step 8: Assessment

Divide students into two groups-“boy”, ”girl” let them have a “PK”

during the class. Which group can get the top of the triangle and they will be the teacher. 设计意图：故事当中Zoom 和Zip 在玩“teacher and student”的游戏，为了使故事更加清晰，也为了激励学生的学习兴趣，将学生分为男女两组（故事中Zoom是男生，Zip是女生

）进行比赛，学生参与课堂的积极性更加强烈。
