Step 1 Warming up 1.

Free talk T: Look out of the windows, boys and girls. How’s the weather today?

S1: It’s sunny. T: Yes, it is sunny and a little windy. What day is today? S2: It’s Wednesday. T: What month is this month?

S2: It’s April. T:. It was Qing Ming Festival. What other festivals can you think of? S4: Mid-Autumn Festival S5: Dragon Boat Festival S6: Children’s Day

.... T: Great. We have so many festivals in China. Children’s Day is your festival. When is Children’s Day? S1: It’s on the first of June. T: Yes. Children’s Day is coming soon. What are you going to do on that day?

S1: I’m going to buy some food.

S2: I’m going to have a big dinner with my family.

Let’s think. T: Before the party,we should prepare things for the party. What do we need for a party? S1: Fruit S2: Drinks ... T: Yes, we need many things。Now, look at our friends.，They’re talking about sth. Guess, what are they going to do on Children’s Day?（预习之后，学生很容易得知答案）

2. Watch and finish

T: Let’s watch the cartoon and try to finish the form. (播放动画整体感知课文后根据ppt中三个问题填表，先完成When，Where，Who并核对答案) A

Part 2 1. Let’s read T: Let’s read Para1 and find : What are the children going to bring to the party? (学生默读课文的第一段，找出他们各自参加派对所带的物品并划线) S1: Su Hai is going to buy some snacks and drinks. (Teach “snacks” and “drinks”) S2: Wang Bing is going to bring some fruit. S3: Yang Ling is going to bring some toys and play with her friends. T: Well done, boys and girls. But we can’t find what Liu Tao is going to bring to the party.
