1、能听懂、会说、会读单词：get，Hong Kong，next week，tangyuan，food，firecrackers，fireworks，lion dance，red packet，Chinese New Year’s Eve，Chinese New Year’s Day。

2、能听懂、会说、会读、会写句子：What are you going to do? I’m going to …

3、能初步理解并朗读课文并能够讲述Anna一家是如何过中国新年的。

4、能通过学习，了解中国的不同地方庆祝新年的不同习俗，也了解其他国家庆祝新年的一些习俗。

Step1 Warm-up and Pre-reading 1.

Free talk：What day is it? What date is it ? What’s the weather like today? 2.Talk about your festival. What festivals do you like ? 3.新授red packets.I like Chinese New Year best. Because I can get red packets. How to get red packets? 4. I can get red packets. Do you know when’s Chinese New Year?

S:It’s in January or February. T:But when is the Chinese New Year this year? (1)(呈现日历表) S: It’s on 2.16th. T: Yes, and we call it Chinese New Year’s Day.（讲授Chinese New Year’s Day）
