PEP2 Unit 4 Where is my car?

Part C Story time 一、课标依据

依据新课标，要求小学三年级学生能看图识字；能根据听到的词语识别或指认图片；能在指认物体的前提下认读所学词语；能用英语做游戏并在游戏中用英语进行简单的交际；能根据教师的简单指令做游戏、做事情如连线；能唱简单的英文歌曲；对英语有好奇心,喜欢听他人说英语；能体会到英语学习的乐趣；积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务；了解主要英语国家的重要标志物。

二、教材分析

这是本单元的第六课时。为故事学习课，本部分以Zoom 和Zip玩捉迷藏这一情景呈现要学习三个方位介词。学生要能听说，认读这些单词。

三、学情分析

三年级学生已经对三个方位介词的概念比较熟悉，desk和chair更是他们每天都接触的东西。因此教师可以联系学生的生活经验，从描述图中物品的位置入手帮助学习这五个单词，并滚动复习句型Where is...?It’s in/on/under... 四、教学目标

Ss get more familiar with the sentence patterns: Where are you? Under the…? In the …?

2. Ss will be able to understand the word table/bed and the sentences: let’s play hide and seek. Are you ready? I can’t find you. I’m behind you!

3. Ss will be able to understand the story

Ss: a bed/ a table/ a toy box. 2. Task1: What game is it? Zoom and Zip are playing games in the room. Look at the picture, guess: what game is it? PPT shows:

Zoom: 1,2,3…10.Are you ready?

Zip: Yes! What game is it? Can you guess?(you can say Chinese.) Ss: Hide and seek. T: let’s look yes or no.

Zoom: Great. T: Yes ,they are playing hide and seek. Follow me: hide and seek.

3. Look at picture6, what happened? Did Zoom find Zip? Ss: No. Where is Zip? Under the table? Under the bed? In the toy box? Let’s help Zoom find zip.
