教学目标： 1、能按要求掌握词汇：large, strong, quietly, weak, loudly, happily, mouse, walk by, wake…up, some day, let…go, the next day, net, bite, sharp, sadly, just then, soon, from then on。

2、能按要求掌握句型：The mouse said quietly. The lion laughed loudly. 3、通过学习本课的故事，让学生懂得人与人之间应该互相帮助。

教学重点：

1、复习巩固了一般过去时态的语法知识，包括规则和不规则动词的过去式。

2、能够恰当地运用副词描述某人说话办事的方式，初步感知学习形容词和副词。

3、能够运用一般过去时态讲述小故事。

教学难点： 1、能够运用一般过去时态讲述小故事。

2、初步感知学习形容词和副词。

教学设计：

Step1: Pre-reading T: Look! Can you guess what my hobby is?

S: You like reading, I think.

T: Yes. I like reading stories. Do you like stories? What stories do you know?

S: The king’s new clothes…

T: Today we are going to read another interesting story. Look at the picture.

Can you tell me the name?

S: The lion and the mouse.（揭题并板书：Unit1 The lion and the mouse）

T: Look at the lion. What do you think of it?
