六下Unit 4 Road Safety单元教材分析

【教学内容】: 本单元围绕“行路安全”这一话题，呈现了若干行路规则和安全知识，旨在引导学生树立正确过马路的安全知识。这一话题与学生的生活紧密相关，通过如何过马路的行为指南及车辆的行驶规则，重点呈现了情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法，在教学过程中联系生活实际，鼓励学生认识更多交通标识，掌握安全知识，做遵守交通规则的社会公民。

【学情分析】:

本单元谈论道路安全，涉及很多与交通有关的词汇，学生对这些词汇的辨析和掌握需要一定的时间来消化，交通规则则是与学生的日常生活休戚相关，理解相对容易，但是若能熟练地听说尚需有待时日，在反复听说的基础上才能达成。同时在学过can、should等情态动词的基础上，本单元加入情态动词must的学习和使用，大部分学生对情态动词的学习掌握很好，个别学生有遗忘，所以借此机会和学生一起总结复习情态动词的用法，并设计综合性的操练活动，以加强学生的理解、辨析和运用能力。

【设计理念】:采用设计课堂主问题导学，让学生自学，互学，学会展学，最终达到“学懂”的目标。发展学生的语言能力，提升英语思维的品质，积淀文化品格，提高英语学习能力。
