单元教材分析：

本单元围绕“行路安全”这一话题，呈现了若干行路规则和安全知识，旨在引导学生树立正确过马路的安全知识。这一话题与学生的生活紧密相关，通过如何过马路的行为指南及车辆的行驶规则，重点呈现了情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法，在教学过程中联系生活实际，鼓励学生认识更多交通标识，掌握安全知识，做遵守交通规则的社会公民。

学情分析：1. “行路安全”这一话题贴合学生的生活实际，也是非常重要的一个内容。学生对过马路的交通规则、红绿等的具体含义以及车辆的行驶规则已有一定的知识经验基础。

2. 本课所重点学习的情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t可以结合六年级上册的Unit5，Unit6，Unit7中的can\should等情态动词来进行关于规定和规则的表达。

Story time （第一课时）

教学目标：

Storytime 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词

road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow，体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法，并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

能用正确的语音语调朗读Story time。

能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

能牢记过马路的交通规则，树立安全意识。

Step 1: Warming time 1.

Free talk:

T: How do you go to school?

1. Watch the cartoon and choose: (整体感知story内容) What does the story talk about?

Check the answers. 2. Learn Part 1 of the story.

T: Look at the pictures. There are many busy roads in the cities. How can you cross the roads safely? To keep safe, you must follow some rules. T: Do you know any rules? （让学生表达自己已有的生活经验，了解学生的语言基础。）

Ss: 学生自由说说交通规则。

T: How can we cross the roads safely ？Let’s learn from the storytime. 1）

Look and say. ( Teach new words and write on the blackboard) Rule1：First, you must look for…

and wait for the… . T: What is green man? What is red man? What do they mean? The policeman tells us. Let’s read and act. 2）Read and act the policeman. T: When the light is green , that means we can cross the road

When the light is red, that means we must not cross the road. That is to say. Red man means stop, green man means go. 3) Try to retell this part . 2 . Learn Part2. T:But sometimes you cannot find a zebra crossing near you. How can we cross the road safely? 1)

Read freely. And try to get the main imformation. 2)

4)Try to retell this part. 3. Learn Part 3. Show some pictures of Part3. T: What can you see in the pictures? Ss: Some boys are playing football by the road. A boy is skating\running on the road. T: Is it safe? Why? Ss: Because there are many cars and bikes on the road. So what must you not do you on the road ? Ss: We must not run or play on the road.
