教材分析:本课课文较短,重点突出,教师要强调不同的时间要用不同的时态,提醒学生注意区分then和now。

学情分析:对于四年级的孩子来说,过去时态是首次出现的内容,和中文有较大差别,weren’t和wasn’t的用法并不容易掌握,所以在教学中要精讲多练。知识目标:学习并运用的weren’t和wasn’t。注意区分isn’t/aren’t和wasn’t/weren’t的用法。

技能目标:在生活中,简单使用过去时态的否定形式。

情感目标:通过以前和现在的对比,让孩子们学会珍惜时间。

教学过程:

Step1、Warmer

Say hello to the pupils.

Learn to say the Pare 1.

step2、New lesson

1、The pupils read the text and find out the new words.

2、Ask the pupil write them on then blackboard: clean/dirty.

3、 Review the words of young/old, tall/short.

4、 A game with clean/dirty, young/old, tall/short.

5、The pupils listen to the tape ,and try to understand was n’t/weren’t.

6、Learn the text. Pay attention to now and then.

7、Read the text after the tape.

Step3、Exercises

1、 Look at the pictures and try to describe them.

2、Check the answers.

3、 Summary.

Step4、A game.

1、There are four pictures, the pupils describe them .

Which group can say more sentences, then win.
