After listening , ask students the question” What can you hear in this song?” Ask students to repeat. 3.

Show the picture of a calendar and show the words of a week on the screen.Learn the new words . 4.

Invite some students to answer the questions:

Read the words about the week together. Then play a game: Let’s chant.

Presentation 1.

Practice reading the words then show the English book and ask students : What do you think of English? Lead them to answer:I think English is interesting. Then invite some students to talk about other subject like this. 3.

Finish 1a. First ,read the words together.Then explain the instructions for the students.Let them know what they should do. 4.

Step 4 Listening

Finish 1b . Read the words in 1a together. Play the recording and ask students to circle the words they hear in 1a. 2.

Listen it once and check answers with the students. 3.

Finish 1c. Let students look at David’s schedule carefully. Listen again and circle the classes David talks about. 4.

Listen it once more and complete the conversation.

Step 5 Practice 1.

Ask students to finish the conversation in 1d. Tell them they can use the information in 1c. Then ask a student to give his \her answer in oral.

Students work in pairs to practice the sample conversation. After that , invite some pairs to show their conversation in class. 3.

Talk about yourself: Invite a student to make a new conversation with the teacher. She/He must use her/his own information to answer. T:What’s your favorite subject?
