二、教材分析

本单元的核心教学内容是谈论音乐。本课时我根据书上的歌曲进行文本再构，通过the Music man的自述来教授本课时的几个乐器类的单词以及重点句型：What can you play?以及I can play the … .教学内容以谈论音乐为主，这个主题非常贴近学生的生活，而且很符合四年级学生的兴趣爱好。因此，应注意引导学生回忆和巩固相关的旧知识，并提出灵活运用的更高的目标要求。

三、学情分析

结合本年龄段学生的年龄特征，创设情境，设计游戏，培养了学生听说读写的能力。在单词的句型的操练中，游戏的方式让学生们在玩中学，学中乐，引入乐器时的音效，操练游戏时的表演猜单词，句型融入到歌曲里面操练，学生们边唱边表演，兴致高涨气氛活跃。学生在这样的课堂里，爱说爱演，会说会演，没有把英语当做学习的负担而是他们兴趣的表达。

四、教学目标：

1.掌握新词：guitar、

piano 、violin、

wonderful 、drum 2.学会用What can you play?以及I can play the … .来谈论和表达自己对于乐器的喜好和能力。

3.学生能够通过询问别人的乐器，并能汇报调查结果。

4.热爱音乐，陶冶情操。

五、教学重难点：

1.Master the key words and learn to use the new structures to communicate with others. 2.Learn about the possessives of nouns.

七、教学过程设计：

I.Pre-task preparation: 1.Greetings 2.Free talk:

T：Do you like singing? Do you like music? Miss Mei like music too, because it’s wonderful.

Teach the word: wonderful. Read it one by one. Lead in the topic “Wonderful

music”，ask the students read it together.

Ⅱ. While-task procedure: 1.

T:I like music, you all like music ,music is wonderful. My friend the Music man like music too, today ,he is coming. Listen to him, and I have a question to you: What can the Music man play? 2.

Play the text about the Music man, ask them to listen and underline the key words. Then ask the question. Lead in the word: piano. Teach the word, read it one by one, then teach “play the piano”. Read“play, play ,play the piano.”

Read the question and the answer together, the teacher ask, the students answer. 4.

Teach “violin” by the same way.

5.

Ask the students to listen to the sound of the triangle, lead in the word, then teach it. 6.

Teach “drum” by the same way.

7.

Ask again: What can he play? The students answer together. 8.

Ask : What can the Music man can’t play? Play the sound of the guitar,

teach”guitar”.

9. Play the Music man again, read after the tape, the read together. 10.Ask: What can you play? Teach the sentences.

Ⅲ. Post-task activities: 1.Have a pair work.

2.Have a chant together, point to the different between “play” and “play the”.

3.Ask the students to use other words make the new chant, then act it.

4.Play the song《The music man》，ask the students to listen, then sing together. 5.T: The music man has a music club, do you want to join it? Ash them to write a passage to the Music man, then they can join it. 6.Ask some students to read it. 7.T:Music is wonderful, it can make me happy.

Homework: 1. Copy the words and translate. 2. Listen to the dialogues and read after it.
