Spell the words:kind, strict, helpful, short, tall, young, old.(Choose some students to have a competition and spell the words on the blackboard.)

Then lead-in the important sentence pattern. What’s your Chinese teacher like? She/He is... Then change the statment to a question? Put “be ”verb in front of the object. Is she...? Is he...? Yes, he is. No, he isn’t. Game:Guess a teacher first.(Then guess a student and a cartoon character.) Students ask the teacher some questions by the sentence pattern”Is she...? Is he...?”

The second part: Boys and girls, what day is it today? Students: answer. Spell the words together and choose a student from each group, and write down the words on the blackboard.
