Let’s open it! OK? Ss: OK. T: Please say “ box, box, open!” (PPT撤掉一个盒子。) T: Oh, the box is too naughty. (PPT中出现naughty一词。)

让学生男女生读来练习。

T: This time, let’s say “naughty box, naughty box , open!”

(PPT又撤掉一个盒子。) T: Again, “naughty box, naughty box, open!”

(PPT 出现易拉罐。) T: What can you see in the picture? Ss: A can. T: A can. Yes, it’s a can. I can see a can. T: Please look at the can. Is he happy? T: I think he’s sad. Oh, poor can. T: Do you want to help him? Ss: Yes. T: But where is he? And what do he want to do?

Let’s go on. T: What happened to the can? T: The can flies over Rabbit and Monkey. Do they help him? Why? T: Oh, poor can. The bird doesn’t help him. The naughty bear doesn’t help him. The Rabbit and Monkey don’t help him. Do you want to help him? Ss: Yes. T: Yes, me too. But where is he now?

T: The can falls between two fish. The fish give the can to Zoom. Zoom catches the can and help him go home. T: Finally Zoom helps the can. He is very helpful. Are you helpful? Step3 Practise 1.

Fill in the blanks and retell the story. Step4 Read and judge T: Zoom helps the can go home. Where’s the can’s home? Ss: Trash bin. T: Yes, the trash bin. T: But there are two trash bins. Which one is the can’s home? Recyclable or not-recyclable? T: Yes. We should put the can into the recyclable one. T: I have some other garbage. Can you help them find their home? (Let some students to put the garbage into different trash bins.) T: We always put the garbage in different trash bins. We call it garbage sorting.
