Step 1

Lead-in 1.The teacher shows the students some pictures about different clothes. Let the students tell what it is one by one.（此环节可以老师随机挑选一组成员，也可让学生自由抢答)

Step 3

Presentation Work on Grammar Focus. 1. Show students a skirt and ask “How much is it?” Let students answer “It’s … dollars”

2. Show students a pair of socks and ask “How much are these socks? ". Let students answer “They're …dollars”. 3. Explain the differences between the two dialogues.

Let the students read the Grammar Focus and practice the sentences in pairs. Work on 3a . 1. Let students make some sentences by using the words on the right. Pay attention to the usage of singular forms and plural forms of the nouns. 2.Choose some pairs to read the dialogues in front of the class. 3. Let students talk about the changing riles. (1)the/this/that +表示颜色的形容词+单数可数名词,用how much is.提问用It’s..回答。

(2)the/these/those +表示颜色的形容词+复数可数名词,用how much are...提问用They’re...回答。Step4 Work on 3b,3c Work on 3b,3c 1. Divide students into two groups: Group A and Group B. Group A ask and Group B answer.
