First reading---fast reading (4’)

Ask students to read the text quickly to check their answers and get the procedure of writing a review.

Second reading (To get the details) (8’)

Read the text again and answer the following questions in six minutes. Be sure to writ e down some key words and phrases to support you.

(Then ask students to answer the questions one by one. The teachers write down the key words and phrases on the blackboard while they are answering them. According to the key words and phrases,

ask them to retell the text) Third reading (To understand some language points) ( 3’) Read the text again and finish exercises in 3 minutes and check in

class (1). ---my reaction is to say “So what” and yawn.

We use this phrase when we think something is

important /unimportant.
