知识目标:
1、To enable students listen,read and write the words: stomachache, headache, have a fever, have a cold, ill 2、To make students use the sentence: What’s the matter? I…
3、The pronunciations of the words: stomachache and medicine 能力目标:
1、Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen,read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context.
2、Through learning the whole text,we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class.
情感目标:
Train students to learn to care for others and common sense about seeing a doctor in western countries.
教学重点:
To Create real environment to use the sentence: What’s the matter? 教学难点:
Spelling and pronunciation of the key words. 教具准备: word cards, courseware,books, teaching tools. 教学时间:2课时
教学流程:(14步)
一、复习检测(检测学过的一些形容词,以为本课做以铺垫happy, sad, angry, tired, bored, excited)
二、新课传授
1.巧妙导入:
1)Greetings: T:Good morning/afternoon,boys and girls.How are you doing today? Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. T:Let’s sing the song:If you are happy. 2)T:How are you doing today? Ss:I’m OK. Thank you. T: I’m not well,because I have a cold. 2.引出主题:
Lead into the topic by guessing a riddle:You can’t see it,but you can feel it.Everybody doesn’t like it.It’s bad for our health.If we have got it,we must go to see adoctor.What is it? It’s illness. T: I am ill. I have a cold.I feel bad.Then write it on the board. 3.解决难点:
1)Words and Sentences Study T shows the pictures with different illness and ask: What’s the matter?Ask the ss to imitate the illness and lead the ss to follow the T to practice reading.The other words could be taught in this way. 2)Pair work:Ask the ss answer the question by imitating the illness in pairs. 3)Fun task: In order to use the sentences freely, have a task: Quick
response: Divide the class into two groups, choose one s from each group, according to the picture, imitate and answer the question: What’s the matter? As quickly as possible. The faster one can win a point. 4.听音感知: T: David feels terrible. What’s the matter? Listen and get the answer. 5.默读初始: Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups. ---What’s the matter? ---I________________. 6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions: Is it too bad? What should he do? 7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读:小组读、男女读、开火车读、领读、师生对读、角色读。
9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
10.短文示范:
