掌握四会单词maths, art, science, PE, 在本课表示课程，分别为“数学课，美术课，科学课，体育课”。

Analysis of the students:

五年级的学生正处在形成良好的学习习惯和有效的学习策略的阶段，他们会说一些生活中的单词，能与别人做简单的交流，这使他们渴望获得更多的知识，得到更多的锻炼机会。我所任教的这个班级的学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣和热情，大部分学生基础知识较为扎实。我在设计本课时，决定从提高学生的学习兴趣和表现欲望入手。同时在教学过程中注重对学生的评价，以此来激发学生参与学习的热情。

Step two :

Lead in .

由Listen to me carefully, there are seven days in a week, so I want to ask you,What day is it today？引出话题，自然过渡到本课的主题上

What day is it today ?

Step there :

Presentation .

A. Show these words：Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 回顾一周七天的英语表达方式。

Ｂ. 导入询问星期的表达句式：

What day is it today ?

—

It’s … .

然后通过师生互动，生生互动学习句型并用替换词进行操练。

C.

在学生熟练掌握询问星期的主题句型之后，出示timetable引出询问科目的表达句式：

—

What classes do you have this afternoon ？

—

We have …

and …

.

在熟练掌握上面的句型之后，紧接着出示另外一些表示科目的单词卡片如：maths, art, Chinese, music, English, PE, science, computer，然后通过各种形式进行句型练习，重点练习本课的四会单词：maths, art, science, PE .

Step four :

Practice .

A. 在学生熟练掌握询问星期和科目的主题句型之后，让学生拿出自己制作的写有星期和课程的五角星卡片，小组内操练本课的主题句型：

. 班内展示，优秀者给予奖励。

Step five :

A game .

A. 教师出示游戏转盘，拨动转盘,进行问答操练，激发学生参与学习的热情，寓教于乐。

B. 指名学生上台操作转盘，进行问答操练, 提高学生的学习兴趣和表现欲。

Step six :

Extension and homework . Ask students to make a new timetable，write on your favorite subjects, next time show with your partner.
