本课是清华小学一年级下学期第三单元第二十课。课本内容紧密联系学生的实际生活，学习日常的交通工具及相关内容。教学内容由浅入深，循序渐进。从而使学生掌握相关英语知识。

Teaching key points and difficult points：

1 本课时教学重点是：ship, train, travel。

This is a ship.That is a train. 2 本课时教学难点是：How do you travel？We travel by train.We travel by ship. Teaching aims: 1. Ask the students to master the word: ship，train，travel。

2. Ask the students to master and use the sentences: This is a ship.That is a train. How do you travel？

We travel by train.We travel by ship. 3. Learn to sing the English song:

What is this？This is a ship。

Oh we travel by ship。

Main points: Have the students learn to say: This is a ship.That is a train. Have the students ask and answer: How do you travel？

Teaching methods: TPR, Task—Based Teaching Approach, the Whole Language Learning. Teaching procedures: Step1 Warm-up 1. Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls Ss: Hello, Miss Chen.

T: Are you ready for class? Ss: Yes. T: Ok, first, let’s

chant together: brush，brush，brush my teeth... （设计意图：掌握sh的发音，为新单词ship的学习打下基础；以歌激情，不仅复习了旧的语言知识,也创造了和谐的英语学习氛围，使学生快速进入英语学习状态，并调动了学生的学习兴趣。）

Step 2 Lead—in 1. Look at the picture，what do you see？Ss：This is a truck，that is a tree。（提出任务，激发学生学习兴趣，从学生认识的tree和truck，无形中灌输tr的发音，为学习新单词train和travel做好铺垫，并巩固了This is a ，that is a...句型。）

T: This is Guangtou Qiang's truck，where is he？

T: Oh！He writes a letter for you！Let's have a look.please read。

T: Let's travel！
