学生分析:五年级在英语学习中起着承上启下的作用,既是三四年级知识的进一步拓展加深,又是六年级知识的基础。五年级的学生已经具备一定的英语知识基础,初步具备一定的知识技能,能够简单的应用日常对话,但还是存在一些问题,部分学生依旧对学习英语兴趣不浓,学习自律性不好,且这个年龄的孩子由于生理年龄身心特点,会有一定的逆反心理,因此在教学过程中我们既要想方设法激起他们的学习兴趣,也要考虑其身心发展特点,一切以学生为本,呈现多样化的课堂,已达到良好的教学效果。

教学目标: 1.Grasp the words and phrases: study, work, have a picnic, by taxi, on foot, by car.

2.Can use the sentences: Where do you…? How do you get there?

3.Can use the simple dialogue in their daily life.

教学重点:The usage of the sentences in their daily life.

教学难点:How to express themselves about places and ways to get there.

教学用具:PPT cards pictures

教学过程:

Step1. Warm up

(1)Greetings.

T: How are you today?

Ss: Fine, thank you, and you?

T: I’m fine, too.

(2)Reviews.

T: Let’s say a chant together, OK?

Ss: OK.

Step2. Presentation.

(1)T: [Show pictures to the students]

What do you usually do?

Ss: I usually…

T: Do you know this two phrases?[Show the two phrases: after school, on weekends.]

Ss: Yes.

T: Please make some new sentences.

Ss: OK.[Make new sentences with the two phrases.]

T: OK, who can tell me, what day is today?

Ss: It’s…

T: Yes, and I should work today, you need to study today. Do you know what I mean?

Ss: Yes, I know.

T: [Write the two words on the blackboard.]

T: From Monday to Friday, we need to work and study, but we

can relax on weekends, right?

T: OK, we have so many ways to get there, now let’s see how to express in English. [Show PPT to them: on foot, by car, by taxi] Ss: [Read follow teacher.]

T: Very good. [Show pictures to the students] We also have some other ways. Let’s see them together.

Ss: [Say the phrases in Chinese]

T: OK, look at here,[show phrases to the students]

Step3. Drills.

1.Write some new sentences.

T: I’ll give you some words, and you can make new sentences with them.

2.Finish part5.

3.Say as quickly as you can.

T: We have eight groups, let’s say the sentences one by one. Ss: OK.

Step4. Consolidation.

设计理念:本单元的教学设计以新课程理念为标准,从学生实际情况出发,以贴近他们日常生活的对话导入,这有助于他们理解单词,之后再设计他们周末出去玩的情境,这对他们来说非常熟悉并有意思,从而引导他们学习关于出行的短语,并补充其它出行方式以拓展其知识面和短语储存量,在此基础上顺理成章引入课文部分教学,而此时学生已经掌握大部分课文中的短语和句子,学习起来并不困难,随后教师再进行一定的讲解,让学生融会贯通掌握课文,从而完成本课的教学任务。
