Story time &Culture time（第一课时）

教学目标：

1.在情景中整体理解Story time的内容。

2.在

Storytime 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词

road, light, zebra crossing等,体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法，并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

3.能用正确的语音语调朗读Story time。

4.能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则，树立安全意识。。

5.了解中英两国不同的道路通行制，体会中西方文化差异。

教学重点：

1.能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

2.了解中英两国不同的道路通行制，体会中西方文化差异。

教学难点：

1．体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法，并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

2．能牢记过马路的交通规则，树立安全意识。

教学过程：

一、Warming up T: Hello, boys and girls. Today, a new friend will join our class. Do you want to see him?(课件出示李警官图片）

T: He is Mr Li! He is a…（让学生接policeman）

T: Yes, he is a traffic policeman. He showed us many pictures.Look! T: There are many busy roads in the city.(教road、busy roads）

二、Presentation：

(1)T: There are so many cars and bikes. How can we keep safe on the road? (教safe，再选几位学生说说自己的观点）

T: You know a lot. Today we will learn something about “Road safety”. （教safety并出示本堂课的教学目标）

T: Look, what’s this? (red man,green man, traffic lights,zebra crossing,pavement) (2)T: How can you cross the road safely? Let’s watch the cartoon and find the answer.

S：First… Then…

（男女生朗读）

T: Do you remember the rules? (填好空后）Let’s have a chant! T: You did a good job! Mr Li has a task for you. Do you want to have a try? Open your books and turn to Page 36，please read this part. (Task1) It’s ticking time. Take out this paper : How many stars can you get? (3)T: Boys and girls. Please think it over,If there is no zebra crossing, how can you cross the road safely? Please read the second part and underline some key sentences.(请学生读划出的关键句）

T: Are you clear? Mr Li also has a task for you. (Task2：Read and and judge 逐句纠正错误，并朗读正确句子）

T: Look, this is today’s news. (出示第三部分）

三、Consolidation：

（1）T: Time for reading.(齐读）

（2）Do some exercises：Task3——Page38. （3）T: Now, a video for you! Please watch carefully! T: Let’s teach Grandma how to cross the road safely, OK? (先一起补全对话，然后请同学上来act it out。）

T: Now, I think Grandma must know how to cross the road safely! 四、Culture time 五、 Homework. 1.Read the story again ，and try to retell it in your own words. （

再次读故事，并试着用自己的话来复述）

2.Tell your family and friends about the road safety. （把道路安全方面的知识讲给你的家人和朋友听）

3. Tell your family and friends about the difference of road rules for drivers between China and western countries.（把中西方不同的汽车行驶交通规则讲给你的家人和朋友听）
