Unit2 What a day! Storytime教学设计

一、教学目标：

1. 学生能够听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词及词组：cloudy, rainy, sunny, windy，become, sky, bring, drink.

会运用句型：It was sunny / cloudy / windy / rainy.

I/We/He/She brought/saw/flew…

2. 学生能听懂、会说、会读单词show, interesting, weather, high, honey, ant, bee, cloud, sky, rain. 3. 学生能初步掌握部分动词过去式的不规则变化及读音。

4. 学生能初步掌握天气表达的句型。

5. 学生能够对了解英语书写日记格式。

二、教学重点和难点

1.教学重点

句型：It was sunny / cloudy / windy / rainy. I/We/He/She brought/saw/flew…

词汇：cloudy, rainy, sunny, windy, become, sky, bring, drink 2.教学难点

1.一般过去时陈述句。

2.不规则动词的过去式构成及其读音。

三、教学过程: Step1.Warming up 1. Say hello to everyone. 2. Brainstorming. Let the students review some vocabulary about the days and months. I ask their birthday, and let them guess my birthday. Teach them read the date correctly.

Step2. Presentation 1. Tell them what I did on my last birthday. Let the students master “go—went, fly—flew” and the phrases went to a park and flew kites. 2. Say and learn some words about weather—sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy…

Explain more about the word ”rain”. Let the students clear that it can be a noun as well as a verb. 3. Let the students know more about a diary. It should conclude the date, weather and special things. 4. Let students circle the date and teach them to read rightly. 5.Enjoy the video and underline the food. 6. Read carefully. Let the students find out the answers to 2 questions: Could they eat their lunch?&How was the weather?(板书sunny, windy, cloudy, rainy)

They learn more past forms of verbs, such as bring—brought, become—became.

Step3.Practice

1. Fill in the table.

1) Finish the table about weather

Finish the exercise---Read and order of P18. 6. Finish the exercise---True or false of P18. 7. Finish the thinking map, and try to repeat the diary.

Step4. Summary 1. The words about weather. 2. The adjectives about 4 seasons. 3. Sum up original forms and past forms of verbs.

Step5. Writing time Let the students write a short article about “last weekend”, remind them of the past forms.

Step6. Emotional education Present some pictures of uncivilized behavior. Let the students get the idea that “Civilized travel starts from me!”

Step7. Homework 1. Finish the homework of 17zuoye. 2. Tell Yangling’s day to your parents in English.

3. Draw pictures about the weather.
