学情分析

The students are in Grade Four. They have learned English for two

years. Besides, in the former three lessons, they have learned some new words about the house. 重点

Can use the new words and sentences in the real circumstances and

ask and answer the furniture of the study in English.

难点

Can ask and answer the furniture of the study in English and develop their habits of English thinking. 教学过程

Step 1. Warm up 1. Brain storming 2. Play a game: What’s missing?

Step 2. Presentation

1. Guessing game (1). New words Give some riddles to describe the features of the new words, and then show some pictures to teach the new words: computer, picture, study. Lead the students to read and spell them, and then ask students to read the new words one by one. (2). New phrases

Show the picture of the study.

T: What can we do in the study? S1: We can read books in the study. S2: We can draw pictures and listen to music in the study. S3: We can play computer games in the study. T: We can also study in the study. Show the difference between the two study, which means “学习(动词)”和

“书房(名词)”. (3). Let’s sing

Makes up a song about study, and let students sing the song together. (4). New dialogues Show the picture of the teacher’s study

T: This is my study. What's in my study? What's in your study? Ss: There is a desk and a new computer in the study. The teacher write down the two sentences on the blackboard and lead the students to read them. 2. Work in pairs to practice the above dialogue. 3. Show the study of kate’s study and let students to listen to the tape and answer the question: What's in Kate's study? Watch the video and then read after the tape. 4. Act in pairs

The teacher prepares two hats indicating Kate and Li Yan, and let students do role play. Step 3. Practice 1.

Guessing games (1). The teacher asks one student, whose neighbours stand up quickly. The first student asks “What’s in your study?”, the two neighbours answer, “There is a new computer. ”
