【设计思路】

我们都知道故事教学，是通过创设真实的故事情景，巩固本单元核心语言：What can you do? I can …. Can you...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t. 在教学中，教师应该自始至终关注学生的情感，努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的氛围，鼓励学生在阅读学习中积极地尝试，尽可能多地为他们创造语言实践的机会。并通过故事情节及人物语言方面的引导，培养学生的阅读能力，激发学生的想象力及英语思维能力，发展学生的语言综合运用能力，在故事中体会英语的魅力。

【教材分析】

本课时为PEP小学英语五年级上册第45页Unit 4 What can you do?

第六课时Part C

Story time的内容。故事讲述的是田鼠不小心碰到了想吃掉它的蛇，聪明的田鼠积极地开动脑筋，骗过了蛇，从蛇口逃生的一次经历，是一个很有趣的故事。故事教学要突出“阅读故事，理解故事”，特别是要引导学生观察故事中的人物、环境，通过师生互动，帮助学生来理解故事。通过故事阅读，提高孩子们的英语学习兴趣，巩固、拓展所学语言；通过阅读故事、讨论故事、表演故事、改编故事，获得英语学习及语言运用的成功体验与成就感。

【学情分析】

为了找准学生学习的认知起点，更好地把握学习难点，我从学生的已有知识储备和所具备的能力两方面进行了学情分析：

PEP小学英语三年级下册开始，每一单元都有Story time,而且故事中的核心句型都是前面对话中学习的重点句型,只不过在内容上又拓展了,所以通过前面两年多的英语学习积累，大部分学生已有一定的词汇量,打下了良好的学习基础，具有一定的英语语言运用能力及学习英语的自信心,另外,学生对故事学

习有着非常浓厚的兴趣，愿意去理解与探索。

【学习目标】

1．在教师的引导下，借助卡通、录音材料和相关问题的设置，能读懂故事内容，能体会到田鼠和蛇的感受与语气；借助简笔画、头饰等，能以同伴合作的方式生动形象地表演故事。（主目标，学习重点）

2．能够借助图片与提示词，完整地复述故事；在老师的引导下，能大胆地设想故事的结局，并积极地表达。（学习难点）

【评价任务】

1．通过观看卡通、设置问题帮助学生理解、听录音模仿语音语调、同伴合作角色扮演、展示。（检测目标1的达成情况）

2．通过提示词和图片的帮助，引导学生复述故事内容；不出示故事结局前，让学生大胆设想故事的发展。（检测目标2的达成情况）

Presentation & Practice 一、初步感知故事

(1)简笔画导入rat和snake,分别提问并了解：What can a rat do? What can a snake do? T: What’s this?

T: There’s another animal, rat. What can a rat do?

T: Look at the snake.It’s big. And the rat is small.

(2) 出示情景图，让学生大胆想想。

T: When a snake meet a rat, what will happen between the rat and the snake? Can you guess? Use one or two sentences to describe the picture.

(3) 观看卡通，整体感知故事内容。

T: But what happened? Let’s watch the cartoon.

二、深入故事学习

(1) 出示图1，并提问

T:Look at the picture 1. The snake says: I ’m hungry. Here comes some tasty food.What’s the meaning of tasty?

T:It means delicious or yummy. What’s the meaning?

T:What is the tasty food for the snake? S:The rat! T:Does the snake want to eat the rat? S:Yes, it does. T:Who can read it for us? S:...... (2) 教师通过故事发展，过渡到图2。

(5) 揭示书中第六幅图的故事结局。

T: Does the snake throw the rat into the lake? S:...... T:Why? T:The snake believes that rat can’t swim. Can the rat swim? The rat swims away.（引导学生说）

T:Can the snake eat the rat? S1:Silly snake.Do you like the ending? T:Who can read the ending for us? S1:……

T:Maybe the snake is angry. Just angry. And forget it can swim quickly and catch the rat again. So,remain calm,please. And don’t be too proud. 三、
