Aims After the course of doing the project, students are expected to: 1.

Select and collect the useful and key information from the provided articles in the project part ; 2.

Master the three main parts of a speech about sport ------- introduction, main body and conclusion; 3.

Make their own speech about sport by cooperating with their teammates.

学情分析

The students have got the general knowledge of a speech about sport from the reading part of this unit they have learnt and they are rather interested in the topic –

sport –

as well. The most difficult part for students is that they are lack in the vocabulary and background information of relevant sport and how to cooperate with teammates effectively. The following teaching procedures are designed to solve this difficult part and smooth students’ way of making a speech about sport. Importance In the course of doing the project, students are expected to discuss and learn how to make a speech of sport and what each group member will do for the project.

Difficulty How to apply the background information about sport into making their own speech. How to cooperate and work together to finish the project.
