首先找一位同学到教室外面，然后老师把写有单词的卡片藏在任意一个同学的桌子上（外面的同学不能看），藏好之后，外面同学回来找单词，教室同学读单词，当这个同学离卡片越来越近时，读的声音就越大，相反，当离卡片远时，读的声音就相应变小。
