Module 7 Unit 1 Are there many children in your class?

1 知识目标：

1）学会单词：ask class ,forty-one ,so, any ,about 2）学会并运用句型：Are there many children in your class?

教学目标

Yes, there are .../No, there aren’t. 2 技能目标：使用句型:“Are there many/any+可数名词复数+地点?”来询问某地有某物吗？

3、情感态度及价值观：能够在小范围内开展调查研究，积极解决问题。

教学重点重点：重点单词，词组和句型。

及难点

难点：There be句型的一般疑问句的正确表达与回答。

教具准备

多媒体课件、单词卡片以及CD-ROM。

教学方法

情境教学法，任务教学法，小组合作探究法。

一、热身复习

1、师生问候。

2、请学生演唱上一模块的歌曲THREE GREEN PARROTS，复习“there be ”句型和简单的数词。

二、激趣导入

1、Teach number: ppt出示苹果园的图片，

T: Let’s go to the fruit farm and pick some apples,okay? 教学过程

Ss: Okay! T:There are many apples here. How many apples are there on these trees? Ss:41.(通过动画讲解数字forty和四十几的表示方式）并引导学生回答There are forty-one. T:Are there many apples on these trees? Ss:Yes,there are.运用ppt动画讲解There be句型的疑问句结构及其肯定的回答方法。

ppt出示桃子园的图片，

T:Are there any apples on these trees? Ss：No,there aren’t.

讲解There be句型的疑问句结构及其否定的回答方法。（there are not=there aren’t.) 句型操练：ppt出示铅笔盒里的铅笔和教室里的教师图片。

2.播放

Unit1活动1动画，学生初步感知课文语境：Kitty和Bob到动物园的猴山上去看猴子，Kitty还专门准备了一些爆米花喂猴子。但是在猴山上，Kitty和Bob一只猴也没看到。两人正在疑惑时，一大群猴子从山上冲了下来，从Kitty手里抢爆米花。Kitty有点招架不住了，Bob看到Kitty狼狈的样子，笑了起来。

2、再次播放动画，请全体学生跟读，在跟读过程中学会运用“Are there any monkeys here?和“No,there aren’t.”,并学会在实际中运用。

三、呈现新知

1、出示课题Are there many children in your class? 2、出示学习目标。

3、Work in groups and show: T:Can I ask you some questions?(讲解新单词ask question)

Do a survey! How many children are there in your class? There are _______ children. How many boys are there in your class? There are _______boys. How many girls are there in your class? There are _______girls. 4、T:Do you know how many children in Amy’s class? 播放Unit1活动2的动画，请学生看动画，教师帮助学生理解课文语境，并完成表格：

How many children are there in Amy’s class? There are _______ children. How many boys are there in Amy’s class? There are _______boys. How many girls are there in Amy’s class? There are _______girls.

5、再次播放动画，请学生逐句跟读，教师帮助学生理解文意，对于学生跟读有困难的语句，教师可以带读，请学生注意模仿语音语调。

6、出示问题：

-Are there many children in a class in the UK? -_____________________________________ -How many children are there in a class in the UK? -There are about________(讲解新单词about）

7、讲解语句So we’ve got more friends in China.(新单词so)

情感升华More friends,more happiness.(多一个朋友，多一份快乐）

8、Read in groups，then act.小组内计时分角色读文，并展示。

四、巩固拓展

1、句型运用：

出示课文中Are there引起的一般疑问句及答句，学生总结规律。

“Are there many/any+可数名词复数+地点?”来询问某地有某物吗？

肯定回答：Yes,there are.否定回答No,there aren’t. 3、出示活动四图片，小组操练。
