一、教材内容分析：

本课时计划1课时（40分钟）完成，主要的课文情境是Daming在父亲节当天给父亲制作了一张卡片为礼物送给父亲。卡片上画出了父亲最喜欢看的书和小鸟，同时并写了一则感谢父亲的信息。本课旨在让学生能运用现在进行时描述活动，同时培养学生从小学会感恩，并通过实际行动来感谢父亲的情感。

二、教学目标分析：

1. 语言能力目标：

能听懂、读懂、认读、抄写单词：special, Father’s Day, message；（教学重点）

能根据意群，听懂、读懂、认读、仿写句型：He’s drawing books and birds; （教学重点）

I. Warm-up and review.

Have Ss see a microfilm, lead in the topic: father.

Free talk: what does your father do for/with you? /Do you love your father? Guide Ss to memorize the things with fathers. 【设计意图】课堂伊始，播放一节微视频，让学生感受与父亲欢快的生活同时引出谈论“父亲”这位本单元的关键人物，为引出新课埋下伏笔。

II. Lead-in and present the task.

III. Prepare for the task.

Task 1: Have Ss know about Daming’s card.

【设计意图】整体呈现课文，创设Daming制作贺卡的情境，通过提问了解课文主要内容。
