一、教学目标：

1、语言知识目标：

1）学习下列单词和短语：drum, piano, violin, play the drums, play the piano,

play the violin. 2）能进一步熟练运用情态动词can谈论能力。

3）能通过听录音学会有目的地获取对话中的关键信息，同时在听的过程中进一步巩固本单元目标语言。

2.情感态度价值观目标：

询问或谈论自己或对方在某一方面的能力和特长，知道每个人都有所长，对自己的能力充满自信，且为他人做力所能及的事，培养学生的社会责任意识。

二、教学重难点

1、教学重点：

1）掌握本部分出现的词汇和短语，达到熟练运用的目标

2）能通过听力训练来提高学生们的听说能力。

2、教学难点：

1）区别play chess和play the guitar中the的用法。

2）情态动词can 的基本用法，即无人称和数的变化；含有情态动词can的各种句型的构成

三、教学过程

I. Lead-in Teacher show a guitar T: What’s this? (show the word and the pronunciation)

T:Who can play it? T: I can’t play the guitar, but my daughter can. If you want to learn, I think my daughter can teach you. 环节说明：由实物引出乐器名称，过渡自然，引起学生的学习兴趣。

II. New content 1.New words 1) Teacher show the pictures of guitar, violin, piano, drum and read these words. 老师领读，让学生跟读，找单个学生读并纠正发音。

2) Do and say. Put up the hands , say the chant and clap. 3) Play a game — quick eyes （Say what you see in the picture quickly）

2. 1a Draw lines to match the words with the pictures. T: Open your book at page4 ,match the words and pictures. 3.1b Listen to the tape and number the words from 1 to 4 in order you hear. T: Let’s look at 1b, you will listen to some sounds, number the words in order you hear.

环节说明：通过多种方式，强化学生识记单词，为对话练习做准备。

III. Pair work Teacher show some pictures of instruments. Ask some student and make some conversation as examples. T: Can you play the guitar? S1: No, I can’t. T:I can’t ,too. But my daughter can play it. She can teacher you. Do you want to learn? S1: Yes, I do T: Can you play the guitar? S2: Yes, I can. T: Can you play it well?

S2: Yes, I can T: Do you want to join the school music club? S2: Yes, I’d love to. Give students some time to practice, then ask some pairs to show. 环节说明：通过对话训练，使学生更熟练地掌握语言交际用语。

IV.Listening

T: Before listening , let’s predict which words will appear and which won’t.Look at the pictures. Pay attention to “music club”

T: Can you tell me which words won’t appear? Ss : draw ,tell story T: Very good. Now le’s listen to the tape. Listen to the tape and check the answers. “ The first one is…”

V. Exploration Observe some phrases about play. Then sum up. play表示动作，当和球类名词组合成短语时，名词前（不加)冠词；和西洋乐器组合，表示“弹奏”时，名词前必须加冠词the。球棋无冠，乐器有the。

VI. Listening

不足之处：

1、板书不够准确，can、can't大写。

2、任务完成情况没有及时做统计。

3、对学生得评价语言单调，鼓励不足。
