教材分析：

What’s this in English?为人教版七年级上册预备单元第二单元内容，预备单元在整个中学的英语学习中地位至关重要，它是对小学的复习，同时又加入初中知识的学习，起着承上启下的作用，而本节课是对一些物品的复习以及听力技巧与能力。

学情分析：

根据七年级的教学情况来看，班里大部分学生都能跟上现有的进度，上课发言积极，但是也有个别同学的理解能力和接受能力不尽人意，学习成绩也不稳定。七年级的孩子们在语言表达上已经具备一定的基础,因此教师应当把重点放在学生的语言的实际运用上,给孩子们创设更加真实的情景,给予他们表达自己的时间和机会,真正的让孩子们做到有话可说,有话敢说。

教学重难点：

指示代词this，that的运用。

3.

听力技巧的学习。

教学目标：

知识目标：a.能正确使用下列单词:ruler, jacket, key, quilt, orange; b.掌握句型：-What’s this/that…? –It’s…

3.情感目标：a.通过小组活动等一系列的课堂活动，培养学生的合作精神；b.培养学生养成整齐摆放自己物品的良好生活习惯。

教学过程: Step1 warming-up Greetings

Step 2 Leading in Teacher: Boys and girls, today I bring some gifts for you, can you say the names of them, if you can, I give them to you. The teacher shows the things one by one, students say the names and lead to the new lesson “What’s this in English?”

Step 3 New language learning 1. Teacher: Boys and girls, look at the picture, what are they? Can you say the names? Students: look at the picture and answer the teacher’s question.

The teacher says: now let’s do a listening exercise, listen and number the pictures. Check the answers. they ask and answer. 2. Teacher plays the recorder again and asks student to complete the words under the pictures in 3a. Check the answers. Teacher writes the importance on the blackboard and how to use “this” and “that”.

The teacher uses the things that she prepares before the class, then asks students to practice. Step 4 New language consolidating 1. Listen to a conversation and ask students to work in pairs and talk about the things in the classroom. 2.Listen to the conversation and number the words students hear. 3.Check the answers. Step 45New language using 1. Ask students make a conversation to the class, and give a presentation to the class.

Step 7 Homework Assign the homework in different level. 教学反思: 本节课的重点是通过学习让学生用英语询问事物。首先我复习了一下上节课学习的有关用品的单词，对这节课后边做对话打基础，然后导入部分我利用了一些实物来复习单词和句在这个环节里复习了小学学过的名词，将部分物品送给学生使学生积极性很高，在这里浪费了时间，所以后面做练习的时间不够用了。本节课的难点是this和that，学生对远指近指理解不到位，导致让学生做对话的时候出现了问句和答语不一致的现象，有好几个小组都出现这样的情况，所以这里完成的不是很好。除了这些，有些环节也不够紧凑，有些拖拉。学生做对话的时候处于紧张状态，做的操练不够。所以，在今后的教学中，我会认真备课，备教材、备学生，备突发情况，尽量设置好每个环节的时间，不再出现这次的前松后紧的状况，另外我对课件的使用还有所欠缺，还应该深层挖掘课件中的教学资源和课堂活动，希望通过实践在以后的教学中能够设计出更多的额适合学生的游戏活动来。
