观察下面各句子中一般现在时的具体含义，然后进行总结。

a. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

b. I live in Shi jiazhuang,a city not far from Beijing.

c. Our English teacher often tells jokes in class

d. We will go for picnic if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.

e. The flight for New York takes off at 8 o’clock this evening.

归纳：

1.表示经常性的、习惯性的动作，

如例句子

总结：

一般现在时表示不受时间限制的科学事实、客观真理、谚语格式，及用于概括、结论、观点等的用法，因为这些动作或状态的发生不限于某个特定的时间，也就是它们可发生于任何的时间，包括现在将来过去。从这个意义上看一般现在时并非表示“现在发生”的动作或状态，这是一般现在时最基本的思维规则。

观察各句中现在进行时的含义，然后进行归纳。

归纳：

1.表示说话时正在发生的动作，如例

4.表示将要发生的动作，尤指按计划安排即将或不久后要发生的动作，谓语动词一般为表示位置移动的动词，如

come,go,arrive,leave,以及start,begin,stay,meet,例如

难点解析：

1.现在进行时可以表示现阶段正在持续的活动，这时进行时表示的是一个一般性的活动，在说话时刻这个动作并不一定正在发生（通常都不发生）。

——I am taking course in school.

2.现在进行时用于表示改变的动词，强调逐渐变化的过程。

a. It’s getting dark.

b. My dream is coming true. 3.一般现在时和现在进行时都可以表示将来的动作，但是一般现在时更强调“时刻表”类的安排一般不改变，而现在进行时表示将来时更强调个人的计划和安排，没有固定不变的含义。
