内容简析：

本单元的学习，主要是了解世界各地小朋友生活信息相关内容。这节课一方面通过让学生讨论自己以及其他孩子最宝贵的东西，表达自己的同时也了解世界各地的小朋友；另一方面，通过学***的歌曲，激起学生对美好生活的热爱和珍惜。

教学目标：

一、知识目标：

1.能用以下句型介绍他人珍贵的东西。

One’s

precious thing(s) is /are …

… is/are one’s

precious thing(s). … is/are precious to somebody.

2.学会生词：war，peace，

poverty, sorrow, grown-up，each other，forever.

二、能力目标：

1.能用多种句型介绍自己和他人珍贵的东西及相关信息。

2.会唱英文歌曲：We are the children of this world. 三、情感目标：

通过调查及讨论他人最珍贵的东西，学会关注和了解身边的人；通过理解吟唱歌曲，激发学生热爱和平和珍惜美好生活的意识。

教学重难点：

情景教学法，以学生为中心的活动教学法等。

教学准备：PPT、点读机，词条，句子卡。

教学过程：

Step One. Warming up：

T:Christmas is coming, we’ll give our precious person precious things. Let’s talk about it. OK?

【设计意图】通过最直接的情景，引发孩子们相互交流的兴趣，学生能立刻融入到用英语交换信息的氛围之中，话题讨论之中拉近了师生之间的距离，也为接下来的学习做好了铺垫。

Step Two. Presentation and practice. 1.引导用不同的句式表达同样的信息：

T:Can you talk about your precious things with different sentences? Let’s try ！

… is/are precious to somebody. 【设计意图】通过引导用学生用不同的句式表达同样的信息，让孩子真切感受到英语句子的形式丰富，乐于表达，学习并运用。

2.学生打开课本到45页，阅读句子，完成配对练习。

3.老师播放录音，核对答案，引导学生注意句子前后的逻辑关系。学生朗读句子。

【设计意图】通过引导学生注意句子前后的逻辑关系，让学生明白表达时应注意语句搭配使用合理。

4. What is the most precious thing for these children? Watch the video and find out the answer.（

Their most precious thing is peace ,without wars.）

【设计意图】通过观看视频，在情境中学习生词war，peace；真切感受战争中孩子的苦难，体会到和平的重要；激发孩子珍惜美好学习生活，热爱和平。

5.进一步利用情境学习poverty, sorrow.

6.总结战争的影响，引入战争的阻止者grown-ups.同时引出歌曲的开头：

We are the children of this world. We are the grown-ups of tomorrow. 【设计意图】充分利用情境，逐步深入，在唱歌之前就基本扫清了歌词理解问题；同时也让孩子们意识到作为未来grown-ups肩负的一份重要责任；并且使学唱歌曲自然上手。

7.Listen and learn to sing the song. 播放录音，学生打拍子跟唱歌曲。

8.Key sentences:

学生听5b的录音，跟读句子

(1).Why don’t you stop the wars and build more schools?

(2).We want to listen to each other.

(3).We want to live in peace forever.

9. 练习巩固：

(1).全班同学齐唱；

(2).男女生赛唱；

(3).击鼓传花式接唱；

【设计意图】学生通过由全班到个人的歌唱练习与比赛提高了英语学习的积极性，增强了竞争意识，激发了学生的学习热情。

Step Three. Production. Use “why don’t you ”or" why

not” to give a suggestion.

e.g. Why don’t you go by bike?

= Why not go by bike? Why don’t you buy something on Christmas Eve?

= Why not buy something on Christmas Eve? The Christmas is coming , use “want to” to tell others you/she/he/we/they hope to get something as a gift. e.g. She wants to have her own shop. I want to have a trip/ a new toy. 【设计意图】学习语言，并能灵活运用语言，让学生充分感受到自己的收获与成长。

Step Four. Homework. 1.Tell your precious person your precious things in English. 2.Sing the song We are the children of this world.
