课时目标:

1、能理解单词high的含义,并掌握短文大意。

2、学会使用there be句型介绍公园及相关事物。

3、能用句型Is /Are there…? Yes, there is /are. /No, there isn’t /aren’t.进行问答。

4、培养学生团结合作的精神和积极学习英语的兴趣和态度。教学重点:

1、能理解单词high的含义,并掌握短文大意。

2、能使用there be句型进行问答和写作。

3、提高学生的读和写的能力

教学难点:

在实际情境中综合运用There be句型。

教学准备:

1、教师准备多媒体课件、音频和词卡。

2、学生准备画笔。

教学过程:

一、课前热身(Warming up)

1、Sing a song : In a nature park

2、Flash cards : mountain, forest, river, lake…

二、读前(Pre-reading)

1、通过问答介绍文章背景:

Who’s at Mr Jones’ house?

There is a nature park near the house. What’s in the nature park? Can you guess? Maybe there is/are…

2、听短文,回答问题(listen and find)

Is there a big village in the park?

Are there any ducks?

三、快速阅读(fast-reading)

Read quickly and circle the words of the scenery in the park. 四、仔细阅读(careful-reading)

1、Read carefully and underline the location of the scenery.

2、Help Robin finish drawing the picture of the park.

Invite some volunteers to show their pictures and introduce. 3、Explain the language points in the text, such as the meaning of the word “high”.

4、Follow the tape and read. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

五、读后(After-reading)

1、Show time.

学生分组朗读课文。

2、Retell the text.

Fill in the blanks.

3、Write three questions about the nature park. Give the answers. Students exchange their writing in groups and check together.

六、小结(Summary)

七、作业(Homework)

1、听录音并跟读文章。

2、以In a nature park为题使用there be句型写一篇作文,不少于5句话。
