Step 1 Pre-reading

1.Show the learning aims:

I can tell others about road safety.

2.Lead-in: T:揭题:Today we are going to talk about “”.

3.Look at the pictures and learn the phrases and words: zebra crossing, traffic lights,red man,green man, a pavement.

4.The policeman will tell you how to cross the road safely.

Match the pictures of the Story time and the key sentences.
