本课时的教学内容是人教版七年级英语第九单元的第三课时,重点是学习有关星期的词汇; 通过创设语境,学会谈论他人喜欢的科目并给出理由;学会谈论一周的课程安排。以活动引起学生的兴趣,任务以听说和阅读为主。因此,教师可以将知识目标定为掌握有关星期的词汇以及询问、回答他人喜欢的科目并给出理由的句型;根据实际情况能够制定课程表。情感目标定为学会合理地安排自己的时间,正确处理好兴趣与学习的关系。

1.Play the PPT showing some pictures of the week to teach the new words. T:There are seven days in a week.But which day is the first day of the week? Is it Monday?

T:Good! Let’s say the days of the week quickly, clapping our hands.
