Encourage students to do sports in daily life

To get some knowledge about the Olympics Teaching difficult point : To make students express opinions freely
Teaching methods:
Task-based method，Group work,
Teaching aids: PPT, paper materials, textbook Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead in 1.
Ask Ss to watch a video and answer the following questions.
1) What sports can you see in the video?
2) What is the most important sports meeting in the world?
2. Competition (group work) Ask Ss to look at the questions And hold a competition with other groups. Step 2 Presentation 1.
Brainstorm. Each group tries to write English words about sports events on the paper. And show other Ss what they have written. 2. Consolidation. Encourage Ss to read and recite English words in games . Step 3 Practice (pair work) Choose one sentences patterns and make conversations with your partners. 1)
What sport do you like best? I like…best/ my favorite sport is…because 2) Who is your favorite athlete? My favorite athlete is….because…
Step4 Homework 1.
Read the words about sports after class. 2.
