Show students a pair of 3D glasses to elicit the 3D film; Present some vivid pictures about 3D films to ask students the following questions.

 What do you feel when watching movies with 3D glasses?

 What is 3D film and how does it work?

Step 2

Fast reading

Read the passage quickly to finish two tasks. Task 1

To find out the answers to the following questions.  What is the name of the product?  How many of the user’s senses does this product connect with?  How could firefighters be trained with this new technology? Task 2

To nalyse the structure of the passage and match the main idea with each part of the article.
