About films Methods 1. Read and guess Purpose 通过谜语，吸引学生的注意，引出本课时的主题。

通过问答交流，让学生说说自己喜欢的电影，谈谈自己对喜爱的电影的感受。

film again?’ says their mum with a newspaper. ‘Oh,

Great!’ shout Ben and Kitty.

Material 2 Ben: Mum, mum, shall we choose a film? Mum: Yes. Which film? Kitty: Shall we go to the cinema? Mum: OK. Which cinema? Ben: Shall we buy the tickets? Mum: Sure. How much? Kitty: Shall we get some food? Mum: Good idea. Let’s see a film.

Material 3 Mum: Shall we go to see a film this afternoon? Ben & Kitty: Great! Mum: There are three films on at the cinema: Swan Lake, Hobbit 2 and ‘Where are we going, Dad?’

Which one do you want to see? Kitty: I want to see Swan Lake. It’s interesting. It’s about a beautiful princess who becomes a swan. Ben: Shall we see Hobbit 2? It’s so exciting. It’s about some heroes’ adventure.

Kitty: Really? Let’s see Hobbit 2. What time is it on? Mum: It’s on at one o’clock. Let’s go.

Material 4 We are at China Film Cinema now. China Film Cinema is in Green Land.

It is on Green Road. It is a big and modern cinema. There are five halls in it, two big 3D halls and three small halls. There are 800 seats in all. They are warm and soft. It is the best place to see a film. We can buy the tickets at the ticket office. We also can buy the tickets on the internet.

Material 5 Ben, Kitty and Mum are at China Film Cinema. They are at the ticket office. They want to see Hobbit 2. They buy three tickets for Hobbit 2 first. One ticket for adults is forty yuan. One ticket for children is twenty yuan. That’s 80 yuan in all. Then they buy some crisps and three colas. Oh, it’s five to one. The film starts in five minutes. Harry up. They must be quick.

Material 6 Welcome to China Film Cinema.

Please notice:

First, you should check the ticket and go into the entrance quietly.

Next, you should find your seat and sit down.

Then, you can see the screen. Don’t smoke. Don’t leave rubbish. Don’t speak loudly when you are watching.

Finally, you should go out from the exit slowly. Hope you have a good time!
