第 九 单元教学设计

本单元以Jill的澳大利亚朋友为切入点，以对话方式了解中国与课标要

材分析

澳大利亚天气的不同，从而引出新授词汇十二个月份，进而操练句型How's the weather in ...(月份)？以及相应的回答It's ...在此过程中还要涉及到已经学过的部分天气的单词，如：warm,hot,cool, cold,windy,cloudy,rainy,snowy等，学生在复习旧知的同时，学习新知，从而新旧知结合，达到综合语言运用能力。

四年级学生已经有了初步的学习英语的习惯，具备了英语学习的学情

分析

能力，又有了一定的英语语言基础，在学习本单元时能带着对澳大利亚的好奇心来学习本课。

本单元用两课时时间来讲述。

第一课时: 引导学生描述自己居住城市在不同月份的天气，结合课文了解澳大利亚的不同月份的天气，从而对比得出结论，不同国家的气候是不一样的。运用句型How's the weather in ... ? It’s … .

第二课时：通过Amy的来信了解因为气候的不同在澳大利亚的圣诞节是在夏天，从而了解更多节日所处的季节与我们的不同。
